Artists’ Talks @ 2pm
Saturday 2nd May, 2pm FREE
Meet some of the ARTiculate artists and gain insight into their creative processes. All welcome
Weaving Workshop
Sunday 3rd May 2 - 4pm
$20 per person
Come and learn the art of ‘RANDOM WEAVING' using natural & found materials with Susan Edwards & Cherry Corr. This is a fun, relaxing 2 hour class. All participants can enjoy a light afternoon tea and take home their woven creations.
All materials supplied – please wear covered shoes.
Limited places.
Suitable for 16 years and over.

Jan Melville: artist & teacher, will discuss “Storytelling within her art practice”. Rachel Carroll: artist, teacher & ARTiculate curator will discuss “Creating art work in response to a theme”. All welcome

Come along to learn how to weave “Birds” for the community art project Weaving Bridges 2015. Materials provided, but donations of wire coat hangers appreciated.

Collage Demonstration
Sunday 10th May, 11am - 12 Noon

Collage - French "for Glue" - is a creative technique, where art work is made from an assemblage of different forms.
Judith Rostron and Dawn Berger will demonstrate, with glue and a few pieces of paper and recycled objects, how to create an attractive gift card.
Children must be accompanied by adults.
Origami Demonstration for Adults
Sunday 10th May 2pm - 3pm
FREE
Origami means folding paper.
Come and join the fun with Midori Furze. Children also welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult.

In collaboration with Desire Books: writers Andrew Franks, Geoffrey Burgess, Patrick Kilmartin & Sid Walls respond to ARTiculate, completing the creative circle. Art responded to words; and writers will respond to the art and Re-ARTiculate with words. Come along for an evening of readings by the writers and to meet other creative’s. All welcome.
